Cinefex 134 - (Page 94) Last Man Standing BY JOE FORDHAM F ive years before directing the sequel to Disney’s TRON, filmmaker Joseph Kosinski outlined a new project inspired by a longheld fascination with science fiction. “I was a big fan of the old black-and-white Twilight Zone when I was a kid,” Kosinski said. “Those small, characterdriven stories with big ideas always fascinated me. And films like La Jetée, The Omega Man or Silent Running — lonely man sci-fi movies — were all inspirations.
